Coral Logo 01

Living Coral has been announced as Pantone Colour of the Year for 2019!

Described on the Pantone instagram as "an animating and life affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energises and enlivens with a soft edge." We are loving the playfulness of this years tone.

Sometimes all you need for your daily dose of coral is a swish of lippy. Bodyography lip slider in Pulp Friction is the perfect tone to give you a stroke of much needed sass this season. For a softer look try their ultra softening lipstick in Rustica or Jane or the long lasting lip lava in bittersweet.

Living Coral has a peachy tone which helps neutralize your skins own undertones, making it a hue almost anyone can wear whether you choose to lean towards the more orange tones or pink side of coral from lips to cheeks and even eyes.

When it comes to hair, the inspiration comes a lot from the hues of the sunset; not too far away from the tones of Summer but the perfect way to add warmth to your colour for the Autumn/Winter months to come.

Coral adds the perfect subtle edge, without pushing it over the top. The best way to get the look is by adding highlights focused towards the midlengths and ends of the hair so the placement gives a beachy appearance with the coral undertone.

With endless options to embrace this beautiful tone, your stylist can cater a style to suit you perfectly with as little or as much flair as you like!

Winter Style

winter style

With the cold winter months upon us let’s look at the trends in hair, makeup, nails and fashion to inspire you to look your best and keep away those winter blues.

Rose gold, burgundy and grey tones are all a must this season

These colours are easy to incorporate into your current colour, using subtle foils or as a full base colour.

Toners/glossing is a great way to change your existing colour without the maintenance or commitment of a permanent colour.

Coffee balayage is a very strong trend coming through for Winter 2018. This look mimics the usual technique but instead of lighter shades, uses coffee tones from dark espresso to soft latte shades.

Bangs are big! Low maintenance shaggy bangs/fringes are in full swing due to their low maintenance styling and cool-girl feel.

We’re seeing many bangs that aren’t blunt or full fringes, but instead soft and wispy perfect to grow out and sweep to one side.

Fresh-faced floral hues are certainly a hot trend this winter

Wild rose: Think youthful innocence of an English Rose, paired with fresh skin and brushed brows.

As the sun goes down change this look up by adding a stronger blush, dramatic mascara and of course a pouty lip.

Queen of the night: This look is one to turn heads on those cold days and nights.

A strong matte pout using Bodyography Lip Lava liquid lipstick will ensure you have nailed the trend.

Deep, dark and manicured. Regular grooming takes time, so invest in a good manicure and your look will be on trend from your head to your feet.

Layers are everything this season. Trench coats all things velvet and the colour to be seen in is Pink! Logomania is huge this season with Zara doing this really well without the high price tags. Women’s suits are the new uniform. This season stand out in checks, stripes, florals all with strong a masculine line.

Basically think about winter 2018 as your time to accessories with everything and anything. Interrupt the trends to suit your own personal style.
