winter style

With the cold winter months upon us let’s look at the trends in hair, makeup, nails and fashion to inspire you to look your best and keep away those winter blues.

Rose gold, burgundy and grey tones are all a must this season

These colours are easy to incorporate into your current colour, using subtle foils or as a full base colour.

Toners/glossing is a great way to change your existing colour without the maintenance or commitment of a permanent colour.

Coffee balayage is a very strong trend coming through for Winter 2018. This look mimics the usual technique but instead of lighter shades, uses coffee tones from dark espresso to soft latte shades.

Bangs are big! Low maintenance shaggy bangs/fringes are in full swing due to their low maintenance styling and cool-girl feel.

We’re seeing many bangs that aren’t blunt or full fringes, but instead soft and wispy perfect to grow out and sweep to one side.

Fresh-faced floral hues are certainly a hot trend this winter

Wild rose: Think youthful innocence of an English Rose, paired with fresh skin and brushed brows.

As the sun goes down change this look up by adding a stronger blush, dramatic mascara and of course a pouty lip.

Queen of the night: This look is one to turn heads on those cold days and nights.

A strong matte pout using Bodyography Lip Lava liquid lipstick will ensure you have nailed the trend.

Deep, dark and manicured. Regular grooming takes time, so invest in a good manicure and your look will be on trend from your head to your feet.

Layers are everything this season. Trench coats all things velvet and the colour to be seen in is Pink! Logomania is huge this season with Zara doing this really well without the high price tags. Women’s suits are the new uniform. This season stand out in checks, stripes, florals all with strong a masculine line.

Basically think about winter 2018 as your time to accessories with everything and anything. Interrupt the trends to suit your own personal style.

Head scarves are currently our most fashionable and easy accessory for those 'lazy days' taking your look to the next level with minimum effort.

Autumn Style

Autumn 2018 is all about diversity, the fashion is filled with romantic colours, botanical prints and lux fabrics.

Ultraviolet is the Pantone colour for 2018 also trending are persian red, ultramarine green, raspberry sorbet and blooming dahlia.

Going from summer to autumn is always a fun transition, one look I’m loving is a bold lip. I love it most on a crisp white blouse or dress. It’s fun it’s flirty while bringing out your feminine side, team it with a lace dress and a leather jacket or boot when the weather cools off. Find image

Hair trends for the coming season - When it comes to hair, colour is IN.

Autumn 2018 brings brighter, bolder and spicier tones with a touch of 80’s influences.

Autumn is seeing the balayage trend continue however we are warming up our clients roots and toning the ends to reflect the season. Think rich golden blondes, peach and honey tones also adding baby lights to frame the face and soften the look.

Reds are going to be huge but remember there is a red to best suit your skin tones.

If your skin is of a warmer tone opt for golden / copper tones

While cool skin tones are best enhanced by blue based reds think violet and cool chocolates, this look teams perfectly with the Pantone colour of the season.

While changing your colour every day is not possible, have fun with some of these looks that showed strong on the catwalks.

Accessories are going to be big check out Gigi Hadid with a fresh take on an oldie.

Change your middle part to a deep side part. Strong and sleek to show drama and sophistication or a romantic blow wave to catch the eye of that special someone

Whatever your take is on the coming season remember just have fun.
